Carcoar Brunch

After a lengthy training session and Sweep Accreditation at Carcoar Dam for some of our friends from Hawkesbury River Dragons, we enjoyed a huge group lunch at The Village Grocer in historic Carcoar.  Great coffee, catering and company.  We were a tourist attraction for the day too with many cars slowing down to see where we were from. Carcoar has been classified by the National Trust because of its large number of beautifully preserved 19th-century buildings and is worth strolling around – which some of us did. The Royal Hotel also featured in the afternoon tour. Thank you to all who came along and welcomed our guests.

Carcoar Dam Training

Dragon Boat training for club and Bei Loon coaching has temporarily relocated to Carcoar Dam until Lake Canobolas  is given the all clear from Blue-Green Algae. The algae is considered toxic and it is not recommended for people or animals to come in contact with it.  Warning signs from Orange City Council are in place.   We are grateful for support from Blayney Sailing Club allowing us to access the dam.
