Dragon Boating in Orange
Congratulations to all the Orange paddlers who took part in the recent Chinese Dragon Boat Festival tour in China. They came 8th out of 32 competitors at Foshan, Guangzhou. Pictured is the Orange members of the Canberra Ice Dragons – John, Mary, Estelle, Susie, Sue and Janet. Awesome effort!
A well attended June meeting saw thank yous for supporting the Orange Show and Parkes Dragon Boat Club 1st Anniversary Paddle Day at Lake Endeavour; news on budget and correspondence; Western Region Regatta update where two volunteers and two officials from each organising team are required for the November Regatta; AGM date and team training for Masters Games coming up in Adelaide.
